The Library is the heart of campus! Library usage continues to increase, despite decreases in enrollment. Many students visit the Library for research help, to use computers and study rooms, find course reserves, or to check out books and other materials.

Check Outs 2017

Circulation continues to rise as students access materials through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services, including Summit Borrowing. In 2015-2016, the Library moved into a newly renovated space that includes 80 open lab computers, which nearly doubled the number of computers previously available. As a result of this increase, laptop checkouts have decreased, as students found it more convenient to use PC and Mac desktop computers within the Library.

Study Room Reservations

Our study rooms are popular! Over 2000 study room reservations were made in 2016-2017, with our small- and medium-sized rooms being heavily used during the terms. Due to the popularity of our individual study room space, in fall 2017 the Library created a drop-in Quiet Study Room (no reservations required) to meet student needs.
