Jen Ferro
Reference & Instruction Librarian

MLIS: Master's degree, Library & Information Science

What am I doing here?

As a reference librarian, I fulfill a variety of functions. I answer reference questions, and purchase books and other items for the Library collection.

I also develop curriculum and supplemental materials for face-to-face, online, and one-shot classes. In the Winter of 2016 I'm teaching LIB 127: Research Skills and Information Literacy, a 1-unit online course.

I love to help people, so feel free to approach me at any time and I'll do my best to see that you get answers to your questions.

In the Fall of 2014 I wrote a pilot for a proposed TV show called Sacto PL as part of my sabbatical trip to Los Angeles. You can read Sacto PL if you're interested!
