Once you re-activate your account, you have free access to NYTimes.com for another 365 days.

Already have a online subscription?
Call NYTimes Customer Care at 1 (800) 698-4637 and tell them to cancel your personal subscription. You will need your email address and account number. Wait a few days, and return to this page to use the NY Times Academic Passto create your new account.
NYTimes.com Passes do not include e-reader editions, Times Insider content or digital versions of The New York Times Crossword. NYT mobile apps are not supported on all devices. Access to archived articles from 1923 to 1980 is limited to 5 articles per day.
