Job Title
OER Librarian
Office Phone

Oregon born and raised, I've been providing library services in the lower-Willamette Valley since 2012. I love being a librarian because I get to help people empower themselves through access to information.

As Lane's OER Librarian, I work with faculty on adopting Open Education Resources (OERs) in their courses. That means using free or cheap materials instead of expensive textbooks. The more that we can do to diminish the financial burden of education, the better. I'm also interested in information literacy, assessment, and Open Badges. You can sometimes find me at the Library's reference desk doing one of my favorite things: helping students with their research.

My personal interests include intersectional feminism, mid-century modern design, and local dive bars. I'm also a food preservation hobbyist and I tend a community garden plot at Skinner City Farm. There's something amazing about watching seeds, dirt, sunlight, and water turn into vegetables...
